Adapting the House for Fido's Needs.  And it's not just adding comfortable pillows and a nice big water bowl anymore, says the Albany Democrat-Herald. Dog owners are remodeling their homes to make their "best friends" ultra-comfy. Doggie showers (with special nozzles dogs can use), built-in scenic doggie overlooks (rooms with a good dog-view of their human pals, soothing landscapes, etc.), even specially crafted doggie "bungalows" are just some of the accoutrements people are adding to their homes.

Dogs may still poop on trees (we hope, as opposed to on the sofa), and happily smell each others'butts, but they're living way large in the burbs; and we at Burbia (who are basically neutral on dogs ourselves) congratulate them on getting all they can get. Rarf!
