B-Take: If your choice is a dead competent Mayor and a really stupid live opponent, what's the issue? You vote for competency. That's what residents in this enlightened Romanian town did. At least the dead guy can't do anything idiotic, like start a war without a plan or, in the case of the live Mayor in our town, start a dowtown rehab project with a plan--with projected costs as inaccurate (& disingenous) as our President's for the war....see the full story.
