Woo These Voters With Hope -- And a Juicy Filet

Trend

Residents of Chappaqua, New York, can practically taste the change that could come with an Obama presidency. After all, the affect of the nation's economic crisis on their tony, liberal suburban town (home to Bill and Hillary) seems to be largely...culinary. Residents reported recently that tough times are leading to tough choices. They're passing up the filet mignon and buying - perish the thought - skirt steak.

They're denying themselves a decent restaurant meal and resorting to shopping at the local gourmet store. Buying $15 bottles of wine instead of $30 bottles. Yup, in Chappaqua at least, they'll be voting not with their wallets, but with their bellies.
