Sometimes Bad Neighbors Need A Nudge. Other Times...A Threat

We received this photo from somebody fed up with a neighbor's inconsiderate "dog practices." I.e., letting the dog use others' property as a personal doggie crapping amusement park.

Apparently neighbors had tried to reason with the dog owner; the community complex had signs everywhere requesting residents to curb their dogs. But it was only after this irate homeowner posted this more "personal" sign -- a bit more specific in its message...in the sense of threatening to do unto the offending neighbor exactly as the offending dog had done unto others -- that the neighbor finally got with the program...in fact, since then, has become a near model pooper-scooping citizen.

Sometimes, gently nudging your neighbor into community-minded behavior is effective. Other times...you just have to threaten to crap on his sofa.
